The born Team's Analysis
The born Job Advertising Index experienced its first rise of the quarter in May, edging up 1 point to 52 points.
The modest rise suggests that the online recruitment market may be beginning to stabilise, after a period of prolonged decline. However, we expect recruitment advertisers to remain cautious over the next few months.
From a sector perspective, Education, Sales and Hospitality seem to have performed well, experiencing positive advertising volume movement.
In all, just under 45% of job boards tracked by the index experience positive advertising volume growth.
