The born Team's Analysis

The born Job Advertising Index declined by 1 point in April, down to 94 points.

The fall follows a three point dip the previous month and suggests levels are unlikely to reach the heights of Q2 2007.

50 percent of the job boards tracked by the index experienced a decline in average advertising volumes, however the majority recorded only minor volumes dips.

There were no discernable differences in advertising trends on generalist and specialist job boards, indicating the market as a whole remained stagnant during the month.
